This 6-week series is an intentional space for postpartum women that promotes recovery, bonding with baby and connection with other moms.

If able, please bring:
-Yoga Mat
-Water Bottle
-Warm / Comfy Clothing

Is there a cost to attend this series?
This is a pay-what-you-can program, with a suggested donation of $10 per session. If cost is a barrier, please still come — you are always welcome here.

Can I attend while pregnant?
Although this is tailored specifically to mothers in early postpartum, we won’t turn anyone away and modifications can be given for pregnant women.

Do I need prior yoga experience?
Not at all. This class is beginner-friendly and designed for real moms in real postpartum bodies.

What if my baby cries or needs feeding?
That’s completely okay. Our programs are designed for real life - you can pause, feed, change, cuddle, and rejoin when ready.

What if I miss a week?
No problem. There is no required commitment. Come when you can.

Is this suitable for early postpartum moms?
If you’ve been cleared for gentle movement (or feel ready for light stretching and breath work), you’re welcome. Always listen to your body.

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR

Marta Lesueur
CERTIFIED YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Meet Marta! Marta began a personal yoga practice many years before she decided to become a teacher. She got her yoga and meditation certification so that she could help others uncover a more peaceful heart and state of mind.

Two years ago Marta became certified as a prenatal yoga teacher so that she can support women during pregnancy, and also into early postpartum. Marta cares deeply for the health and well-being of moms and mothers to be, and children too of course. Her other great passion in work life is being a Forest School educator for kids. The love she has for the outdoors and for working with kids has led her to the forest school model, one that fosters a connection between nature and self as well as each other, thereby building strong and sustainable communities.

Marta is thrilled to share her joy of yoga and nature with Brockville.
